Cleveland Dean is a visual artist and creative entrepreneur. His art has been featured in several solo and group exhibitions at the Chicago Cultural Center, Scope International Contemporary Art Show, Prizm Fair, The Union League Club of Chicago, N’Namdi Contemporary (Miami) Matthew Rachman Gallery, Gallery 914, the Bridgeport Arts Center, Gallery 220, Chicago Loop Alliance, Flatfile Gallery, ZhouB Art Center, University of Chicago, Governors State University, Northeastern Illinois University, Union Street Gallery, Phaiz Gallery, Chicago Art Department, Espacino Imagen Alternativa – Mexico City, Mexico, Espacio El Galeron Mexico City, Mexico, the Offices of Leo Burnett, and the Prudential Building. Giving back to the community is para- mount to Dean’s mission. He has served as a mentor and artist in residence for the Union League Boys & Girls Clubs initiative Know Peace ( formally Painting for Peace ). Cleveland has also served as a working artist on the Board of Directors for both the Chicago Artists Coali- tion and Graffiti Zone.
